I have just binge listened to the 4 books one after the other
Absolutely loved them
Ray Porter is a fabulous narrator and I couldn't care less that he's American .. I loved his voices and characters.
My favourite genre of books and I can't wait for more!

Great plots line and twists and turns. I love time travel books and films ever since I saw the time machine by H G Wells. Wonderfully descriptive writing and a real page turner.

Apart from an American doing the narration a totally enjoyable story. I have read the 4 books in the series and each one interwoven into each other but also has its own story.

Ray Porter brings so much life to this amazing series written by the fabulous Nick Jones. When you get so lost in a story you don’t even notice the bath water has gone stone cold, and you’re holding your breath between sentences, then you know both author and narrator have done an exceptional job of transporting you to another time and place (pun intended.) I just have to wait a year or so for the next instalment. **Big sigh** Back to reality in the meantime ;)

So Iv listened to all 4 of the books on this series. I never questioned if I was going to go to the next book! If there was a 5th then that would have been my next listen…

Narrator- Ray Porter has a soothing beautiful voice. His worldly accents however are terrible! When he talks as a woman, it’s really bad again! But yet I keep listening…

Story- this one felt different to the first 3. There was a slowness to it, but looking back quite a lot happened and it was crucial to the story line to back up certain traits of time travelling… but sadly there were some occasional moments where is drifted off and had to rewind the chapter… that never happened with the first 3 books.

But the stories have me hooked. And I await a 5th eagerly…

Again this book did not disappoint and I’m so sorry that there isn’t a #5 for me to listen to now. The narrator did not disappoint either and I hope Ray Porter returns! Actually I hope the series continues what a fabulous story! Thank you Nick Jones for endless hours of entertainment!
